7 facts about the Woodex exhibition
This year marks the 19th Woodex exhibition. Its rich and long history dates back to 1990. However, as the industry evolves, and Woodex has always kept pace with the times, visitors and exhibitors can expect many changes in 2025.
Fact 1. Woodex is now held annually.
The market is changing rapidly today. Visitors and exhibitors need a reliable platform that can offer everything needed for the entire production chain and the manufacture of high-quality products, from machines to materials. Therefore, starting with Woodex 2025, the event will be held annually, in late autumn and early winter. The next exhibition will take place very soon, December 2–5, at the Crocus Expo IEC.
Fact 2. Woodex is the main industry exhibition
In 2023, the exhibition brought together over 8,100 specialists from 75 regions of Russia and 26 countries. For the first time, the exhibition attracted over 4,800 professionals. In 2023, over 200 companies—industry leaders and growing brands—occupied over 18,000 square meters of exhibition space with their booths and equipment samples, and over 300 machines were on display. This scale once again confirms Woodex's status as the leading industry exhibition in Russia.
Fact 3. New product sections
In 2025, the exhibition expanded to include new sections: Equipment for Metalworking and Furniture Manufacturing, and Equipment for Door Manufacturing. Additionally, a separate section was created for Tooling and Equipment.
Fact 4. The Woodex Mebel Summit was held for the first time.
In June, the Woodex Mebel Summit was held in Moscow for the first time under the auspices of the Woodex international exhibition. This is a new platform for maintaining and expanding business connections between the heads of Russian furniture manufacturers and suppliers of furniture production equipment. Over 200 delegates attended the event, and 25+ experts spoke as part of the business program.
The Woodex Mebel Summit program included more than 10 hours of diverse and reliable information about the Russian furniture market from state regulators, executives, and representatives of major furniture companies and manufacturers (First Furniture Factory, Kitchen Dvor, HOFF, ORMATEK, Divan.ru, MK Shatura, Slavyanskaya Mebelnaya Kompaniya, FELIX, and others).
Delegates had over 10 hours to network with new contractors and potential clients in the furniture market, as well as maintain ties with current partners.
Woodex Mebel Summit will become an annual meeting place for industry leaders at the highest level.
Fact 5. Woodex's unique audience
Woodex visitors are industry professionals interested in business contacts and deals.

ToolMash is the 2nd International Exhibition of Equipment and Tools. In 2025, it will be held for the first time in conjunction with Woodex. Visitors will be able to find all the necessary equipment and tools at this single venue.
Woodex 2025 participants will also gain access to a new target audience: visitors to the ToolMash exhibition. In 2024, the exhibition attracted over 5,600 professionals interested in purchasing tools at the exhibition.
