7 things you should know about Woodex 2026
Explore seven key facts about Woodex 2026, including its annual format, exhibition sectors, visitor profile, exhibitor reach, co-located events, and business programme.
Woodex has a long track record. The exhibition ran for the 18th time in 2023 and reached its 19th edition in 2025. The industry has never stood still, and neither has Woodex, so much has changed heading into 2026.
Fact 1. Woodex Is Now an Annual Exhibition
The market moves too quickly for a two-year gap. Buyers and suppliers need a dependable platform that covers the whole production chain, from machinery through to materials.
For most of its history, Woodex ran every other year; from 2026 it moves to an annual format, held in late autumn and early winter. The next edition opens very soon, from 1 to 4 December, at the Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow, Pavilion 1.
Fact 2. Woodex Is the Sector’s Principal Exhibition
The last edition drew more than 7,320 visitors and 180 exhibitors, filling over 12,200 sqm with stands, equipment and working machinery. Exhibiting companies travelled in from Austria, Belarus, Canada, China, Germany, India, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Türkiye and Vietnam.
For context, the 2023 edition drew 8,190 visitors from 75 Russian regions and 26 countries, with 210 companies filling 18,000 sqm and more than 300 machines running on the floor. That scale is what keeps Woodex positioned as Eurasia's leading event for woodworking and furniture manufacturing.
Fact 3. Ten Product Sectors on One Floor
The exhibition is organised into dedicated sectors so you can head straight for what you came to source:
// Equipment and tools for woodworking
// Equipment for furniture production
// Equipment for doors production
// Furniture components and accessories
// Tools
// Equipment for wood waste utilisation
// Paints and coatings, adhesives, sealants and wood protection
// Logging machines
// Auxiliary equipment, components and services
Fact 4. The Woodex Mebel Summit Sits Alongside the Show
Woodex is no longer just four days in December. The Woodex Mebel Summit is a separate platform built to maintain and expand relationships between the heads of Russian furniture manufacturers and the suppliers of equipment, components, and materials that serve them.
It is part of the wider ITE ecosystem around Woodex, which keeps industry professionals connected year-round, not just for a single week.
Fact 5. The Audience Arrives Ready to Buy
Woodex visitors are industry professionals with the budget and authority to buy. 79% are involved in purchasing decisions, and they walk the aisles actively sourcing machinery, tools, materials, components, coatings, adhesives, sealants and other production solutions.
The 2023 audience research told a similar story: 95% of visitors made purchasing decisions, 41% were company top management, and 21% held a purchasing budget above 50 million roubles.
They come from every link in the chain: furniture manufacturers, woodworking and joinery businesses, equipment suppliers, distributors, dealers and carpenters from across Eurasia.
On the other side of the stand sit the market leaders. Companies presenting at recent editions have included ACCEMA, ALTENDORF COMPETENCE CENTER, BECCOR, Biesse, CAM Ticaret, DITEC, Felder Group, Intervesp, KAMI, Kleiberit, Koimpex, LIGA, Muhlbock, NANXING, SECAL and STANKOFF.RU, among many others.
Fact 6. Woodex Shares Its Venue With Toolmash
ToolMash, the International Exhibition of Equipment and Tools, was co-located with Woodex for the first time in 2025, turning the venue into a single stop for tools, machinery and industrial equipment.
For Woodex exhibitors, that pairing opened up a second, closely related audience without the cost of a second stand.
Fact 7. Four Days of Programme, Demos and Clinics
The Woodex Conference Programme runs throughout the exhibition and takes on what the sector is actually wrestling with: advances in machinery and automation, sustainable forestry practice, and more efficient production techniques, with global experts leading the sessions.
Around it sits the practical side of the show. Scheduled demonstrations, live-cutting sessions and new-product launches let you judge capability, performance and safety features first-hand before you commit.
Instructor-led masterclasses and troubleshooting clinics cover machine setup, maintenance, finishing techniques, and CNC programming, making them useful for upskilling staff and fixing problems already on your production line.
Woodex 2026 is your chance to build new partnerships, walk hundreds of machines, and compare notes with people solving the same problems you are.
