

From 2 to 5 December 2025, the 19th annual International Exhibition of Equipment, Materials and Components for the Woodworking and Furniture Industry, Woodex 2025, was successfully held in Moscow at Crocus Expo IEC, Pavilion 1.
For the first time, Woodex was held jointly with ToolMash, the 2nd annual International Exhibition of Tools and Equipment.
Woodex confirmed its status as the main platform for business communication among specialists in the woodworking and furniture industry in Russia and the CIS.
Starting in 2026, Woodex will become an annual exhibition to consistently meet the needs of timber industry participants and provide the industry with a modern platform for networking and business development. Industry leaders, leading companies, experts, and Woodex partners welcomed the decision to switch to an annual format for the industry’s main exhibition.
In 2026, we will continue to develop the Woodex ecosystem to bring all industry participants together in a professional community and provide Woodex participants and visitors with additional opportunities for business development throughout the year.
The Woodex ecosystem includes:
• Woodex exhibition, the key exhibition for the woodworking and furniture industry.
• Woodex Mebel Summit, a platform for maintaining and expanding business relationships between Russian furniture manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, components, and materials for furniture production.
• The Woodex Connect app.
Woodex 2025 exhibition
The extensive Woodex exhibition, featuring multi-tonne equipment in two halls of Pavilion 1 at Crocus Expo IEC, occupied 12,200 square metres of exhibition space.
More than 200 leading Russian and international companies from eight countries (Russia, Austria, Belarus, India, China, the UAE, Turkey, and the Philippines) presented their products at Woodex and ToolMash. Among the participants were 40 new companies.
Woodex 2025 was attended by industry leaders and leading companies, including: NANXING, STANKOFF.RU, KAMI, LIGA, INTERVES, MS-GROUP, PMSK RUS, SPECTEKHUNIVERSAL, ALTENDORF COMPETENCE CENTER, DITEC, NASKA, TUSCAR, BELGOROD ABRASIVE PLANT JSC, INSTRUMENT-PLUS LLC, INTER-LOVEL LLC, K3-MEBEL, K3-KOTTEDZH, MAKINAS, MEGAPAK, SVEZA SMARTLAIN LLC, SLOBODSKOY MACHINE-BUILDING PLANT, STANKI.RU, STANKOM, PROIZVODSTVONNOE OBEDINENIE “TEPLORESURS”, CHPU TECHNOLOGII LLC, ENERGORESURS LLC, ENTOCHIM, UNIFLEX LLC, and many others.
Twenty-four companies participated in the new sections “Metalworking Equipment” and “Door Manufacturing Equipment”, including: OLRED, CNC Technology, LLC “INSTRUMENT-PLUS”, STANKOFF.RU, STRONG INSTRUMENT, DITEC, MAKIL PLUS, MS GROUP, Hizmet Him Makina Tekstil San. Tic. Ltd, Pride, STANKOEXPERT, and others.
At the exhibition, industry professionals had an excellent opportunity to explore a wide range of offers from manufacturers and suppliers, and to select the most suitable products and solutions for business development.
The Woodex and ToolMash exhibitions were visited by 7,240 specialists.
Woodex was visited by 6,379 specialists from 23 countries and 75 regions of the Russian Federation. Representatives of 4,687 companies attended. 3,444 specialists visited the exhibition for the first time.
Woodex 2025 Awards Ceremony
On 3 December, a formal award ceremony for Woodex 2025 participants was held in the Forum Hall. The organisers recognised companies whose products, projects, stands, and activities made a special contribution to the development of the exhibition and the professional community.

Woodex 2025 business programme
Over four days, the exhibition featured a packed business programme dedicated to current industry topics.
A total of 63 speakers took part in business programme events. Over the course of the exhibition, 448 industry specialists attended 13 themed events.
Traditional programme topics included the plywood and sawn timber markets (trends and development prospects), the state of the timber industry and measures to support equipment manufacturers, and wood waste recycling. The events were organised in partnership with the Lestech Association.
Georgy Zherebyatov, Deputy Head of the Machine Tool Industry Development Division of the Machine Tool and Heavy Machinery Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, took part in the plenary session “The state of the timber industry and measures to support the industry and equipment manufacturers”.
The business programme was also supported by the China National Forest Machinery Association (CNFMA), with the association’s president, Wei Jiang, taking part in the plenary session.
The following sessions were held in a new format and with a completely updated list of speakers:
• “Robotisation of woodworking and furniture production” (Co-organiser: Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems)
• “Paints, varnishes and adhesives for wooden house construction, small architectural forms and windows”
The following events were held for the first time as part of the exhibition:
• Forum: “Effective furniture production: from words to action”
Co-organiser: Furniture Communication Project, the first communications agency in the furniture industry.
The forum became an open discussion platform on efficiency in furniture production, covering state support, automation and robotisation, digitalisation, and lean manufacturing. Speakers included Sergey Poroshin (Expert, ANO Mosstrategia) and Dmitry Pishchalnikov (Vice President of Opora Russia).
• Session: “The Future of Wooden House Construction: Prefabricated Buildings, Modules, and Suburban Development”
Co-organiser: Association for the Development of Modular Construction.
The event covered the wooden house construction market, the share of prefabricated and modular houses, and small architectural forms. Experts discussed industrial versus individual housing construction, suburban development, “wooden” technologies, and showcased completed projects demonstrating the effectiveness and advantages of these approaches.
• Session: “Furniture for HoReCa”
Key topics included adapting to changing HoReCa needs, trend analysis, identification of new requirements, and recommendations for developing innovative solutions.
Among new event formats, Woodex hosted the 6th Woodworking Skills Industry Championship for furniture and woodworking specialists for the first time. The championship was organised by the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry Enterprises of Russia (AMDPE).
New app for collecting contacts: Woodex Connect
Woodex Connect was launched for the first time at Woodex and immediately delivered impressive results. Exhibitors actively used the lead scanning and matchmaking services. The results exceeded expectations: 3,816 scans were made in total, including 3,051 scans made by exhibitors.
Official visits to Woodex 2025
The Woodex exhibition was visited by representatives of the embassies of Vietnam, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. The diplomats toured the exhibition and met with the management of the ITE Group to develop a strategy for further cooperation in woodworking and the furniture industry.
Mr. Wei Jiang, Secretary General of the China National Forestry Machinery Association (CNFMA), and colleagues visited Woodex 2025, toured exhibitors’ stands, and held talks on cooperation with Sergey Irtuganov, Director of Woodex.
